1.   GET ORGANIZED

  • Think through your day the night before

  • Anticipate potential problems

  • Plan how to deal with them. Have a Plan A, and B and C

2.   BE FLEXIBLE

  • Give your kid’s a heads up. Tell them what you want ahead of time

  • Be sensitive to their tiredness and hunger when they’re cranky

  • Be willing to change your to-do list as needed

3.   MAINTAIN A SENSE OF HUMOR

  • Remember, your kids are just that, KIDS!

  • Smile as much as you can when interacting with them

  • Look for times to be silly. Play with them, have fun and laugh

4.   KEEP BALANCE AND STAY SANE

  • Carve out time for yourself daily—give yourself 10 minute breaks

  • Learn how to say “No” to others

  • See your life in stages. Children do GROW UP! Enjoy today.
