Value Yourself ~ God Does!

When God called me to teach in Bible Study Fellowship many years ago, then opened doors to continue teaching in over twenty countries plus write books and Bible studies, He filled me with a passion that has never left me.

What is it? To lead women into a deeper knowledge and love for Him. To learn that He is alive, aware, and active on our behalf in all that life brings to us. I know this personally, and I still long to bring that life-empowering and transforming awareness to the women God brings across my path.

Currently, God is leading me to begin teaching weekly in my local church, starting in September.  I am excited to do this and have called this new ministry:

FLOURISH TOGETHER-- A Place for Women to Grow!

In addition to teaching God’s Word, He has called me to:

MENTOR, COACH, AND COME ALONGSIDE women who need a safe and supportive person to share with. Sometimes the best person is not a friend or family member but someone who can give you Biblical perspective to understand yourself and the situation and choices you are facing.

Although my coaching practice is directed to Christian women, there are basic benefits from all types of coaching.  The following excerpts from an article by Chad Hall, a Leadership coach and President of Coach Approach Ministries identifies three valuable ways this happens:

“Clarity. Life is confusing. Sometimes the speed of change, the novelty of emerging situations, and just the pace of life can keep people in a fog. Even the best people are moving from one thing to the next quickly, with little downtime, and with far too little opportunity to collect their thoughts, get their bearings, and see things clearly.

Coaches help blow away the fog. An hour-long session provides time for the client to focus, breathe, and gather herself. The coaching relationship prompts the client to shift perspective, change their viewpoint, and get a full look at their life. With clarity, the client can affirm what is working, notice what is not working, and determine what’s worth the effort to change.

Confidence. If I could bottle confidence and sell it, I would be a gazillionaire. By my estimation, 95% of all my clients in 25+ years of coaching struggle with confidence to some degree. So many clients doubt themselves unnecessarily. Low confidence interferes with how a person lives, experiences life, and the legacy they leave. Low confidence holds the client back, resulting in them leaving so much promise on the sidelines as unrealized potential. Needless doubt is wasted energy. Needless doubt delays action, interferes with forward movement, and downgrades the impact one life can make.

Character. Every coaching client who is moving forward in life enters a territory for which they are not yet prepared, equipped, or capable. The coaching relationship helps them get what they need for the next stage of life, and the number one thing clients need for what’s next is character.

Character is the quality of the person. Coaches help clients mature in character. Clients who are moving forward in life must develop the virtues needed for what’s next.”

WHO DO I COACH?
  • I coach women who want more from their lives, to know their purpose and to move forward.
  • Women who want to explore what God created and gifted them to do.
  • Women who want encouragement, guidance, and support as they make healthy changes.
Does this Sound Like You?

Life can also bring situations and relationships that are complex, confusing, and cause anxiety.
  • I help women who have questions about God and their relationship with Him.
  • I coach and support women who are struggling with unwelcome changes, losses, unfulfilled dreams, fears, aging, and broken relationships.
Does this Sound Like You?

My joy is to encourage you to throw off whatever is hindering you from living fully, to experience God’s reality and power in your life, and to make your life count for Him. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
