RIGHT BRAIN? OR LEFT BRAIN?
You created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Ps.139:13-14My husband recently celebrated a very special birthday so I invited two couples to dinner that we’ve known for many years.Looking round the table I realized that all three of us wives in the early years (decades?) of our marriages had shed many tears, been tempted to run away, and wondered why the men we loved were so baffling, puzzling, annoying, and NOT the men we were expecting!Yet we all hung in there—strengthened by the Lord to keep loving, growing, forgiving the unintended hurts, and looking for the good in our husbands. And we’re all glad we persevered. :)
Let me remind you of something I wish I’d known:
No woman marries the final product! Nor are we the final product.
We are all in the process of being shaped and changed and transformed by the Living God, through the power of His Spirit, and the guidance of His Word—if we want it!
ARE MEN JERKS? I don’t think the majority are, BUT THEY ARE DIFFERENT! Here are more insights into our differences taken from my book, WHY CAN’T HE BE MORE LIKE ME?
