Review Your Past {Daring to DREAM}

Review Your Past {Daring to DREAM series} - PoppySmith.comTo know where to invest your life, take a little time to review your past. Doing this will give you clues to who you are and what personality traits and strengths God has built into you.Here are some questions to ask yourself as you look back:

  • Do I thrive on being with people? Prefer being alone? Or need a mix of high octane activities plus times of quiet to be re-energized?
  • Do I prefer taking risks than staying in a safe routine? What bores me? What excites me?
  • Do I enjoy taking a leadership role, or prefer being a follower?
  • Do I prefer to focus on getting projects done, or interacting with people?

If someone asked you to describe yourself, what would you say in the light of the questions above?Here are some more questions that provide insights into how God has wired you:

  • What causes you to wake up with a sense of anticipation or excitement?
  • What are you doing when you’re the happiest or most fulfilled?
  • What activity leaves you feeling burned out?

Let's Talk: How has God wired you uniquely?
